Hey guys, last month I was in NYC to meet one of my favourite photographers, Rick Day. I contacted him, thinking he would never reply, asking if he would like to take nice pictures of me. He answered me within 5 minutes ” Are you free tomorrow at 6:30pm? ”
I jumped in a plane and the next day, I was shooting almost naked in his East Village studio. I was very stressed at first, even had to go to the bathroom, to concentrate and pinch myself, telling myself I was here, shooting with Rick Day. When I came in his studio, I was like “maybe he didn’t see properly the photo of me that I sent him” or “he probably regrets inviting me” etc.
We were suppose to shoot for 45 minutes, and ended up shooting for 3 hours. We had a blast! I wanted to show you our work and of course to know your opinion about it. I won’t put the photos that are tooooo suggestive (frontal nudity) but I don’t mind showing a bit of butt. I think that Rick (and I) made something beautiful! So click “more” to see the photo I selected.
This video is getting viral online. It was posted 3 days ago, and already almost 300K hits.
I love to dance, I love dance tv shows, I love to watch dancers…I bet I’m not the only one here. This video shows amazing talented dancers, choreographer Yanis Marshall (middle), Arnaud Boursain and Mehdi Mamine. It was their last rehearsal practice before the final of Britain’s Got Talent few weeks ago.
Check the boys dancing on Beyonce‘s mashup with their high heels and attitude after the jump, it is priceless!
The most talked-about act before the competition, Austria’s Conchita Wurst has won the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen with “Rise Like a Phoenix”, a very “007″ power ballad.
The drag performer, whose real name is Tom Neuwirth, developed a consistent lead as voting progressed, and ended up with 290 points. The “bearded lady”, as the 25-year-old is known, had stirred controversy especially in some eastern European countries like Russia, just to name one of them.
“This night is dedicated to everyone who believes in a future of peace and freedom. You know who you are. We are unity and we are unstoppable,” the winner said as she was presented with the trophy.
Congratulations to Conchita Wurst, whose triumph gives Austria its first Eurovision victory since 1966.
Watch her performance after the jump and let me know your thoughts.
Matthew McConaughey speech at yesterday’s Oscars got different opinions from all over the world. Us Weekly called it a “touching” speech (really?) while Time called it “confounding” and “semi-bizarre”.
I’ll personally say that I’m a bit disappointed that McConaughey didn’t mention HIV/AIDS once in his speech. Given that he won for the “Best Actor” award in his role playing a person with AIDS in “Dallas Buyers Club,” you’d think maybe he could have paused his self-indulgent, self-congratulatory, self-obessed speech to mention — as did Jared Leto, who also won an Oscar playing a person with AIDS in “Dallas Buyers Club” — the “36 million people who have lost the battle to AIDS.”
What do you guys think?
Check out both speech after the jump!
