Music : Justin Timberlake’s Suit & Tie

Justin Timberlake released his new single Suit & Tie on his website at midnight. Produced by Timbaland and featuring Jay-Z, the track has a happy vibe but it’s nothing like what he previously released. It sounds more like an “ambiance track” to me, you know the kind of song that plays in a nice restaurant or a cool lounge, it is not as dancy as I thought it would be.

His voice also sounds very different. Seems like he didn’t work on the voice for a while or maybe he still smokes?  Cigarettes make the voice a bit  less clear even foggy. Falsetto seems to be harder to reach for JT…

Anyways, I’m not convinced by the track…let’s see what else will come out in 2013.

Arts : Short Fashion Film : Photosynthesis

I love how the web can widen boundaries and  bring a photographer to express his work into a short film. An image can now come to life with a model, a great soundtrack, special effects, colours… it’s pure beauty. If you like fashion, photography or art, this might give you goosebumps! The short movie below shows the exceptional talent of these artists.

Entertainment : The 69th Golden Globe Awards

Big names were attending last night’s Golden Globe Awards : Brad and Angelina, Madonna, Meryl Streep, Charlyze Theron, Nicole Kidman and many many more.

There were few surprises but the awards were given to artists that were expected to receive them. Some of my favorites winners are Meryl Streep  for her role in “The Iron Lady” , Madonna for her song “Masterpiece” and Tintin for “animated feature film”.

Arts : Why Beauty Matters

I recently saw this amazing video by BBC and I wanted to share with you and have your opinion. The video is quite long, but very very interesting if you like arts, architecture and music!
